The 2017 vintage is a deep dark purple color with aromas of cherries and blueberries. The flavor is of plums and a warm berry pie followed by sweet vanilla oak that finishes with some soft and slightly spicy tannins.
Pairing: Delicious with grilled meats, like beef tenderloin and a lamb roast. Enjoy with a slow-cooked braised beef or short ribs, as well as with rack of lamb or pork tenderloin. An array of dark chocolates, especially chocolate molten cake work very nicely.
Blend: 90% Petite Sirah, 10% Syrah
