2017 Peeps Old Vine Zinfandel

French oak aging for two months gives this Zinfandel soft vanilla oak undertones with light pepper spice and flavors of blackberries, raspberries, and soft mocha. The finish is delightfully lingering.

Hanging with your Peeps when they are barbecuing rib eyes, filet mignon, or making a slow-cooked brisket ranks high on the list. Pork loin and rack of lamb are also tasty alternatives, as well as lasagna or pasta dishes. A little starter of blue cheese, parmesan, or cheddar makes for an enjoyable pairing.
